Lower and Upper Bushing Conductors

Conductors made of high-conductivity electrolytic copper, used in lower and upper bushings of power transformers, reactors, and other high-voltage equipment. Designed for current ratings of 1,000 A, 2,000 A, and 3,150 A, they are supplied in various lengths and geometries according to project specifications. They ensure low electrical resistance, high thermal stability, and compatibility with oil-filled or capacitive bushings, in compliance with IEC and NBR standards.

Description

The lower and upper bushing conductors manufactured by ITA Industrial are components made from high-purity electrolytic copper (≥99.9%), offering excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength. They are used in power transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, and other high-voltage equipment, connecting internal windings to external terminals through insulating bushings.

Designed for nominal currents of 1,000 A, 2,000 A, and 3,150 A, these conductors are available in a variety of lengths and geometries according to the electrical and mechanical specifications of each project. They are compatible with capacitive, oil-filled, or dry bushings, and can be supplied with custom machining, mounting holes, and surface treatments based on application requirements.

Technical specifications:

Material: High-conductivity electrolytic copper (ETP grade, ASTM B187 or equivalent)

Current capacity: Up to 3,150 A continuous

Applications: Power transformers, reactors, capacitors, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, and substation equipment

Finish options: Natural, tin-plated, or nickel-plated upon request

Standards: IEC 60137, NBR 5356, IEEE C57.19

ITA Industrial manufactures these conductors according to customer drawings, ensuring precise dimensional fit, low voltage drop, thermal stability under continuous load, and safety during overloads or short-circuit conditions.
