Description
The upper bushing conductor is a component machined from high-conductivity electrolytic copper (ETP), designed to provide the electrical interface between the external side of the high-voltage bushing and the outgoing transformer or equipment circuits. Its cylindrical geometry, with chamfers and precision-machined surfaces, ensures a secure fit, excellent electrical conductivity, and easy assembly.
Available in various lengths, diameters, and fastening configurations, this conductor can be supplied with a natural, tinned, or silver-plated finish, depending on the technical requirements of the system regarding oxidation resistance, contact performance, and electrical durability.
Key technical features:
-
Material: Electrolytic copper (≥99.9% purity – ASTM B187 / ETP)
-
Rated current: up to 3,150 A
-
Available geometries: multiple options in total length, outer diameter, chamfer width, and custom machining
-
Mounting: via machined interface fitting into the upper bushing assembly
-
Surface finish: natural copper, tin-plated, or silver-plated (on request)
-
Applications: power transformers, reactors, and high-voltage equipment using capacitive, dry, or oil-filled bushings
This component is manufactured under strict dimensional controls, with precision machining to ensure low contact resistance, high thermal reliability, and compliance with tolerances required in medium- and high-voltage electrical designs.
