The ITALAB®

Ensuring the highest quality standards of our products is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to present our internal testing laboratory, ITALAB®.

ITALAB® is a laboratory division of ITA Industrial, which exists since 2004 and that adopts as reference the normative Ordinance INMETRO 200/2021 – Laboratory Requirements and partly a ISO/IEC 17025 NBR.

Our laboratory is equipped with advanced features that allow us to accurately calculate the limits and capabilities of each part, through pressure and cyclic tests beyond measurements & analysis necessary to ensure the compliance and reliability of all our products.

Tests performed on ITALAB®

ITA Industrial’s own testing laboratory performs a series of rigorous tests on the products manufactured. Some of the common tests we may be conducting include:

Pressure resistance tests
Products, such as gas valves, are tested to ensure they can withstand the specified pressures without failure or leakage.
Leakage tests
The hermeticity of the products is verified, ensuring that there are no leaks of gases or fluids.
Functional tests
The products are tested under real operating conditions to ensure their correct operation and performance.
Durability tests
Resistance and service life tests of the products are carried out, simulating conditions of prolonged use to verify their durability and reliability.
Temperature tests
The products are subjected to tests in different temperature ranges to evaluate their performance and stability under thermal variations.
Safety tests
Tests are conducted to ensure that products meet safety standards and do not present significant hazards during use..

ITA Industrial adheres to the ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 standard, which establishes the requirements for a quality management system. This standard provides guidelines to ensure that the organization consistently meets customer needs, continuously improves its processes, and demonstrates compliance with applicable regulations. ITA Industrial uses this standard as a guide to establish and maintain its quality management system, ensuring the quality of its products and customer satisfaction.

ITALAB follows the INMETRO 200/2021 standard. This standard establishes the criteria and procedures for the operation of testing and calibration laboratories. By adhering to this standard, ITALAB ensures technical competence, reliability of results and traceability of measurements performed in product quality tests. This ensures that ITA Industrial products undergo rigorous and reliable testing, providing additional assurance to customers regarding product quality and safety.

ITALAB is also partially compliant with NBR ISO/IEC 17025. This standard establishes the criteria for the technical competence and impartiality of testing and calibration laboratories. Partial compliance with the NBR ISO/IEC 17025 standard demonstrates ITA Industrial’s commitment to following the requirements of technical competence, quality management and method validation in its tests. This ensures the reliability of the results obtained in ITALAB, reinforcing the quality and safety of ITA Industrial products.
